Position Information Responsibilities· Support residential leadership team in their oversight of students and mentors. This includes, but is not limited to: Help develop, implement, and monitor systems; Support proactive communication strategies; Organize paperwork, reports, and the like; Help organize and communicate about clubs, field trips, etc. · Fill in for absent mentors when needed, which includes, but is not limited to: - Directly supervise 5-10 7th thru 12th grade students in the boarding program- Mentor students to help support their growth mentally, academically, and socially- Keenly Monitor and track student behavior- Implement the THRIVE boarding program with fidelity- Communicate weekly with parents and families- Set a positive example by being a role model for students in the program- Plan and implement programs and activities to do with students- Mediate conflicts and promote a positive living environment · Other duties as assigned Qualifications· Minimum high school diploma or equivalent· Knowledge or background in working with at-risk children and youth· Strong communication skills· Enthusiasm and patience for working with middle and high school age students· Willingness to work hard and with fidelity· Organized Accountability: This position is accountable to the Director of Residential Life
